Developers · UCP readiness

Structured for universal commerce, ready to meet UCP as it takes shape.

The Universal Commerce Protocol is an emerging idea: one interoperable way for any platform or AI agent to discover, price, and buy from any merchant. There is no fixed spec to claim today. What is real is that Queek OS already runs commerce as structured data, so it is ready to meet universal protocols as they mature.

Universal commerce protocols

Emerging, not a fixed spec. Readiness is the structure beneath it.

A universal protocol can only reach commerce that is already structured to be reached. Queek runs commerce as structured data today.

What UCP aims to be

An emerging idea of one interoperable way to buy from any merchant.

The Universal Commerce Protocol is a direction the industry is feeling toward: a shared, open way for any platform or AI agent to discover a merchant, read real availability and pricing, and complete a purchase, without a bespoke integration each time. It is still evolving, with no single finished spec. We treat it as a direction to be ready for, not a product to claim.

  • 01

An idea, not a finished spec

Several efforts are forming and nothing is settled. We will not pretend otherwise.

  • 02

    Interoperable by intent

The aim is one structured contract any platform can read, instead of one-off integrations.

  • 03

    Readiness is the real work

What makes a business UCP-ready is the same structured catalog, pricing, and orders that already power selling everywhere.

Why readiness matters now

Readiness is not a future feature. It is the structured commerce Queek OS runs today.

Whatever shape universal protocols settle into, they will need the same structured foundations underneath. Queek OS already runs every one of these for live businesses, which is what makes the readiness genuine rather than aspirational.

Structured catalog

Products, variants, and details as structured data, not a scraped page.

Real-time availability

Live stock and hours, so nothing is offered that is already gone.

Resolvable pricing

Real prices, fees, and options that settle before anything is confirmed.

A completable checkout

A real cart and checkout that can actually be finished, not a handoff.

Fulfillment & delivery

Picked, packed, dispatched, and tracked to the door.

Order & status read-back

Confirmed orders and live status any system can read.

How we are building toward it

From structured data today to UCP-compatible pathways as the spec settles.

Readiness is layered. The structured foundation is live now. Stable interfaces onto it are in early access. MCP is a parallel connection pathway. UCP-compatible pathways come as the protocol takes a fixed shape, and not a moment before we can do it honestly.

  1. Structured commerce data

    Live today

Catalog, availability, pricing, checkout, fulfillment, and order status, run as one structured layer.

  2. Stable interfaces

    Early access

The Queek API over the structured layer, so platforms can read and write it directly.

  3. MCP pathways

    Building toward

How an AI assistant connects to Queek through the Model Context Protocol.

  4. UCP-compatible pathways

    When the spec settles

Meeting the Universal Commerce Protocol once it takes a fixed enough shape to build against honestly.

Where UCP readiness stands

What is real now, what we are building toward, and what we will not claim.

We would rather be clear than impressive. UCP itself is forward-looking. The readiness underneath it is not.

Real today
  • Commerce run as structured data on Queek OS
  • Catalog, availability, and pricing as one source of truth
  • Checkout, payments, fulfillment, and order status
Building toward
  • UCP-compatible pathways onto the structured layer
  • Stable, documented interfaces over that layer
  • Early access, shaped with partners
Not claiming yet
  • A shipped Queek UCP product or live endpoint
  • A Queek UCP spec, version, or schema
  • That UCP itself is a finished, settled standard

UCP questions

Straight answers about UCP on Queek.

What readiness means, what is real, and what we will not pretend exists yet.

Does Queek have a UCP product or API today?

No. There is no shipped Queek UCP product, endpoint, or spec, and we will not invent one. What is real is the structured commerce, catalog, availability, pricing, checkout, payments, and fulfillment, that Queek OS already runs. That structured foundation is what makes Queek ready to meet universal protocols as they mature.

Is UCP a finished standard?

Not yet. The Universal Commerce Protocol is an emerging idea of interoperable commerce, with several efforts still forming and no single settled spec. We treat it as a direction to be ready for, not a standard to claim compliance with.

What does UCP-ready actually mean here?

It means Queek already runs commerce as structured data, catalog, real-time availability, resolvable pricing, a completable checkout, fulfillment, and order status, so that as universal protocols settle, Queek can meet them without re-platforming. The readiness is the structure, and the structure is real today.

How is this different from the MCP page?

MCP is one specific pathway: how an AI assistant connects to Queek through the Model Context Protocol. UCP readiness is broader and more conceptual: whether Queek's commerce data is structured enough to meet universal protocols generally as they emerge. The MCP page covers the connection. This page covers the readiness beneath it.

When will UCP-compatible pathways ship?

When the protocol takes a fixed enough shape to build against honestly, and not before. The structured layer underneath is live now, the interfaces over it are in early access, and UCP-compatible pathways follow the spec rather than a marketing date.
